1867: Watchmaker/optician Henry Conrad Warner founds the Warner Company Jewelers. The first store, located in Gilroy, California, was named after the Warner Family's personal and professional operating philosophy – The Golden Rule. This principle of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” earned the Warner Company Jewelers an excellent reputation for professionalism, ethics, and customer care – a reputation that has been carefully nurtured and maintained over the years, customer by customer.
1880: H.C. Warner moves the Golden Rule to Mariposa Street in Fresno, California.
1910: The store is moved to 1401 Fulton Street. By this time, both Albert Warner and Conrad Warner had joined the family business, and the company was renamed Warner Company Jewelers. Together, the three men ran the company until 1951.
1934: The Warner Company becomes a founding member of the American Gem Society, an organization dedicated to setting and maintaining the highest standards for business ethics and professionalism, in the jewelry industry.
1951: Albert Allen “Bud” Warner graduates from Stanford University and joins the business, marking the introduction of the fourth generation of Warner Family members into the company.
1986: Kathleen Warner becomes the fifth generation in the family business, and the company moves into a new store on East Shaw Avenue in Mission Village.
1993: Casey Stephenson purchases the business from the Warner Family. He brings a lifetime of experience in the jewelry industry, and is committed to building upon the family values and community trust established by the Warner Family. He successfully combines this dedication to customer care with savvy business practices, and The Warner Company grows rapidly in just 6 years.
1994: The store is moved to the Fig Garden Village. Over the years it expands more than twice the size when it first moved there.
2007: The store opens and expands to its current location in the Palm Bluffs on Palm and Herndon after being in the Fig Garden Village for over a decade. The new store is four times as big and will house new designer lines and larger selections of previous designer lines.
