I feel so sad I am at a loss for words. Please tell everyone at Warner they are in my thoughts and prayers during this tough time. Life is so sacred, you just never know when your time is up. I loved reading the obituary, thank you for thinking to send me that as well. I loved the part that read “Although his life was taken early, he lived a life that was full and courageous.” That is Casey in a nutshell to me. I will remember my days at the Warner Company with great fondness for many, many years and the “family” that soon after I started working there took me under their wing as a young woman, in a new place, new everything and made me feel welcome and at home, over 300 miles away form family and a fiancee preparing for war. The Christmas season, my wedding jewelry, and all the wonderful people, and most of all the spirited executive I worked for and all that it entailed. I have so many fond memories of working with you all, and the culture Casey created and demanded his employees attain for the best customer service and the importance of giving everyone the “Warner experience.” I remember it like yesterday really, especially since it was last job before having kids and staying home to raise them. It was hard work, but more than anything, a lot of fun. The day I left, I will never forget, Casey sat you, Maritza, and myself down in his office and popped open a bottle of the best champagne to celebrate my time with Warner. That’s the type of person he was. I worked there for 6 months, and he and everyone at Warner treated me like I had worked there since the place opened. He was one of the most interesting people I ever met, and one of the most naturally gifted businessmen around. Thank you for including me in this time of sorrow, I feel really touched you thought to write me, and I would have felt so badly if I never knew. So thank you. All of you members of the Warner Family are in my thoughts and prayers, most especially Casey’s children, whom I imagine this is beyond difficult. God bless, thanks again, and keep in touch.
Love always, *Mary
I wish to extend my condolences to Casey's family on this very sad day. I had no idea that he was ill. I have known Casey for years and have been a recipient of his kindness and generosity on many occasions when asking for donations for the many fundraisers that I was a part of. He was a super human being and he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Stephenson family and to the entire Warner Co. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mr. Stephenson's passing. He was so generous, kind and helpful to my husband and I when we bought my wedding ring. Mr. Stephenson was a wonderful community supporter and will be greatly missed.
With regards, Bettina and Wes McKee
Our thoughts and prayers are with Casey's family and the entire Warner Company Jewelers Family. We are very saddened at the loss of this wonderful man.

Dear all of the Warner family, I am the wife of Dave Friesen, he called me yesterday, as soon as he heard about Casey. We are thinking of all of you, please know that we are praying that the Lord will comfort and support you all during this sad time. Casey was such a great man, Dave is very appreciative of the relationship that they enjoyed during the construction of your beautiful new location. Please do not hesitate to call us if we can serve you in any possible way. Very sincerely and with the deepest sympathy.
Dave and Tamera Friesen
Dear Friends, I did not have the opportunity to meet Mr. Stephenson, yet I was very inspired by him. His story was documented in the Fresno Bee when he planned his move to the current location. I was able to relate to what he did as I too have ambition that moved mountains.
My saddness in his passing is that the legacy of this great Country passes and many miss or do not comprehend the significance of such an icon. Mr. Stephenson left a monument to his ambition. Everytime I pass his monument I am reminded of the pride, strength, and determination that led him to fulfill the American dream. My gratitude is continual for his genuine example. My determination is firmly tempered for his dedication. My appreciation for his success is lifelong. Finally, my recognition of a true American icon. May the blessings you have given us through your hard work, personality, and generosity continue to extend in the future as they have from the past. I send my prayers, Thanks, empathy, support, affection, and tears to his family. You have beheld benevolance. May you all continue in his manner.
Respectfully Yours, Thomas M. Ruiz Patron
What an amazing human being. I was honored to work with Casey for 2 years and my experiences with him left an indelible imprint on my life. We shared some crazy moments together but through it all I always knew his heart was in the right place. I'll miss you sir. Save a place for me. Your friend.

I always enjoyed my friendship with Casey. I remember the great times we had at Casey's house with Cameron and my daughter Lauren. We shared some tough times as well. Through it all we remained good friends. It has been some time since we touched base and I know that he reconnected at Clovis Hills and I was looking forward to reconnecting with him! It will have to wait until I see him in heaven.
I will always remember Casey's genorsity and his open door policy at his home! He helped a lot of men who struggled with life challenges!
I will miss my friend!

To My Warner Company Family: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Casey. Warner Company was the best place I have, or ever worked and I know the reason for that was the way Casey built his bussiness. He truly was an excellent boss and really cared about his clients and employees more than anything. He inspired us all to be the best we could be and I will always be thankful I had the privledge of knowing such an amazing person. Lindsi, Cameron, Virgina and all of my Warner Co. family are in my thoughts and prayers.

First, let me express my deepest sympathy to the Stephenson family and Casey’s extended family at Warner Company. It is with great sorrow and sadness that I write this message upon learning of his untimely passing. I first met Casey Stephenson as high school freshman in Lemoore when I needed a battery changed on my old quartz watch. He treated me with a respect and humor I was not accustomed to as a teenaged consumer. That type of treatment continued over the course of the next twenty plus years as I went through various jewelry, watch, and life phases while Casey grew his business and reputation... moving his store from Lemoore to Hanford to Fig Garden, and ultimately to the beautiful Palm and Herndon location in Fresno.
Today as I write this message, I am wearing a watch that Casey and I traded for in exchange for some disc jockey work I did for him around 1993 or so. The watch has always been a treasured possession of mine, proving itself on many adventures. That watch led to what for me has become an all consuming passion for collecting timepieces that Casey initially fostered way back when he treated my first watch like it was a prized Rolex, and treated me like I was some sort of VIP, producing another satisfied customer and someone who always considered Casey Stephenson a friend. He will certainly be missed, yet his legacy lives on in his family, The Warner Company, and those many people whose life he touched in some way or another over the years.
Sincerely, Phil Howard
I was horribly shocked when I found out last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Maritza and the rest of the Warner Co. & Stephenson family in your time of bereavement. I was fortunate enough to work with Casey and truly enjoyed his passion, spontaneity and smile J He will definitely be missed.
Andrea
Please know that everyone involved with Warner Co is in our thoughts and prayers. The lost to the community is great – we so appreciate everything Casey did for the American Red Cross.

My condolences (on behalf of myself & KAIL TV 53 Fresno/Visalia/Merced). Although I never personally met Casey, I was well aware of his outstanding success in the local jewelry business....I remember when he owned Casey's Jewelers & used radio advertising all the time to help build it, until he bought Warner Company - I worked at KRZR at the time & he always used the station! I've always appreciated the business he spent on KAIL & he will definitely be missed. My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.
Regards, Dave Hetrick GSM KAIL TV Fresno
I heard about Casey today, and although I never actually met him, I’d seen him several times in the past at the Fig Garden location. It’s scary to me how young he was and that after all he’d done to get the business to where he wanted it, his life was taken. Hope things will be ok there for you and everyone else at Warner Company. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you now or in the future.
Best regards, Dave
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the Warner family at this time. I am so sorry. Casey’s light shined bright – for much to brief a time.
My best, Jan
I loved Casey, he sold me my wife’s wedding ring 19 years ago in Hanford… He let me make payments for 6 months after our wedding…He was a very giving person…I am still shocked…

I’m shocked, as is EVERYONE here at KMPH-TV about Casey’s sudden and untimely passing. I’m so sorry about this tragic loss of such a generous and good man. My thoughts and prayers are with the Warner Co. families and staff.

This is a real shocker. Our heart-felt condolences go out to Casey's family, friends and those who had the good fortune to work with such a visionary retailer. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with the good folks at Warner's.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. You are in my families hearts and prayers. Casey was a lifelong friend and we stood at each others weddings. No matter what or when, we were friends who could depend on each other. I have so many memories from the past 38 years I would not know where to start, except to say that the void created by the loss of this dear friend will never be filled.
David Hetyonk Santa Barbara, CA
Kim and I are very sad to hear about Casey. His vision will live on! We are both proud to wear wedding bands designed and purchased from Fresno's best jewelery store.
Brian Snyder
Jim and I are so very sorry to hear the news of Casey's passing. I am so thankful that I was able to spend time visiting with him a couple weeks ago in the store. He seemed like he was feeling well and like his old self. You know all the fun we all had together - most of it was all at the old store. I will always remember when I had my wedding ring redone and he had the perfect watch to go with it - that was the day I got my Rolex. Then at the open house when he said I won the contest to name the location of the new store. Now that piece (the Damiani cross)will always be my "Casey".
We love you all, Norma and Jim Muradian
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Casey' life. We all know how remarkable he was. I was blessed to have met him, unfortunately, we couldn't help him more.
Take care, Betsy
Although I wasnt engaged (yet), I would occasionally go into Warner Company just to look at the beautiful diamond engagement rings and try them on. One time, I was trying on a ring, a HUGE ring, and Casey approached me. He told me to sit down and just to enjoy the beautiful diamond. He was so friendly, and personable. Asking how my future fiancee and I met, and giving wonderful advice. He (and the Warner staff) made me feel so comfortable in such a "fancy" setting. It felt as if I knew him for years, although it was only moments. From that moment on, I always loved Warner Company. But it was HE who made me love Warner. That was just a year ago, but I remember hat like it was yesterday. Just because it was so touching. He was so full of life. I am so sad I wont see him again when I go in. He was an Angel on Earth.
Casey was the best employer I have ever had in my life. He is my inspiration , my preceptor , my encourager as he always told me that I could achieve my dream if I do it one step at a time. YOU'LL BE MISSED...

Casey, it was way too soon for you to go!!! I will miss knowing you're out there comeing up with the ideas so far out of the box that it made the others look like they were still trying to invent the wheel. You always amazed me with the ideas you had in running a business. A "marketing genius"!!! I could hardly wait to see what the next "brainstorm" was going to be. As some of you know, I worked for Casey for about 4 years. Toughist person I ever worked for!!! He demanded absolute excelence from everyone that worked for him, much more than I thought I could ever give but because of him I found more of myself to give than I thought possible. At a management meeting he once talked about how most people don't plan much more than 2 - 3 years out. He however was always planning 20 years down the line. Casey I'm sure you are still doing that right now. When I see you again I'm positive St. Peter will have learned the Warner Company core values by heart and on one of the streets paved in gold there will be a Warner Company address. Save some bench space for me my friend!!!

Casey has touched so many hearts not only in Fresno, but across the country. I now live in Florida but had the pleasure to work with Casey at Warner Co. about 7 years ago. He was a brilliant man who had a passion to look beyond the goals that were set. Always thinking outside the box and finding a way to make it happen. His mind was always working! However, outside of work on our days off we would have get togethers with our kids and sometimes take them to the waterpark. The one thing we knew about Casey was his caring personality beyond the Jewelery Store Owner. As big as he became in the Fresno area he was still a kid at heart. It has been many years since we have seen him but often thought about the fun times we had. Casey will truly be missed. "May God Bless his family, friends, and the entire Warner Co. team!"
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, John & April DiSabatino
Casey will be missed by all that knew him. My sympathy goes out to the Stephenson family and the Warner Company Jewelers family.
Your Friend, Ed Werner William Levine Inc.
As I read these kind words from everyone, I have tears rolling down my face and my heart is broken in many pieces. Casey--you were not only my mentor, my boss,a life long friend, but also part of my family. We knew this day would come soon but it still doesn't make it any easier to say good-bye. It has only been a few days and everything I see or hear reminds me of you and I am sure it always will be that way. You will be remembered through all the fabulous music that you loved, trips to the coast, trips to Vegas and playing roulette, fireworks (throughout the year), fast cars, and if I ever go on a night hiking trip in the snow again (which I doubt) and get lost I will think of you. I promise you I will do whatever it takes to keep your memory and your legacy alive. I also promise your girls will take care of Mom, Lindsi and Cameron. You always have told us to live hard, work hard, and play hard because we can rest when we die. Well, my friend, it is your turn to rest and I hope you can rest in peace. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
Until we meet again, Debbie
We at Centurion will all dearly miss Casey and appreciate the contributions he has made to the industry and its professionalism. We will always treasure the moments we have shared with Casey over the years.

To Casey's children, other family, colleagues and friends - my prayers are with you all in honor of this unique and inspirational human being that showered each of us in some special way - his charisma and innate goodness was a special gift, and I too was touched by him.....Casey, we love you and we will all miss you - your passion inspired me and your sensitive soul reminded me of what we all really are underneath the external "us" - your "345 group" will never forget you... I will forever remember your gusto and fearlessness in Leany's "back 40" as you rode the 4-wheeler leaving us in the dust! That smile and "live in the moment" attitude warmed my heart - this is how I will remember you always, because this Life is not a dress rehearsal! You left too soon Casey.... much love to Cameron whom I met in Utah... blessings to all family, co-workers and friends - I too am shocked, but know Casey has just changed addresses so-to-speak and we will see him at some point down the road.....

I had the pleasure of working for Casey and his family for years as their 'Nanny Liz'. Funny, though, how after only a couple of weeks, he was sure to make me feel like one of the family, and always treated me as such. He taught me that just because I provide a service for someone, it doesn't mean that I am treated like a servant. He taught me that if something is important to me, it's important to him. He taught me that if you treat someone well, they are sure to tell a couple of people. He taught me that if you treat someone poorly, they are sure to tell at least a dozen. He taught me that it's okay to laugh right out loud, don't worry who's watching you dance like a goof, and that somtimes it's okay to party like a rockstar. Casey had a true passion for happiness, not only for himself, but for those around him. If he loved you, you knew it, because he never failed to show you, in one way or another, how much he appreciated YOU FOR YOU. My heart breaks for his families, both at home and at the Warner Co., as he was truly one of a kind. Years down the road, we will all still be sitting around remembering the important things he taught us, relishing in the experiences he gave us, telling hysterical stories of his antics, and laughing until we cry. And you know, I just don't think he'd have it any other way.
Be well my friend, Nanny Liz
My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Casey was truly one of a kind and he will be missed dearly in all of our hearts.

I have been thinking of you all together remembering Casey today. I wish I could be there. Casey was of the most loyal people I have ever known. No matter where I went or what line I carried he was always there for me. He could see the good in everyone and was an exceptional judge of character. Everyone at Warner Company is a perfect example of his talent. He put together a store full of kind, honest and caring people. Please tell everyone I wish I could be there and that my thoughts are with you all today.

I have had the priviledge to work with Casey and the Warner Co. family for 9 years. Back when I was 22, Casey took a risk and hired me to do a big job for which I was not qualified in the least bit. But he always had more confidence in me than I had in myself, and I know I owe so much to him. He challenged and inspired me to ask tougher questions, think farther down the road, pay attention to detail, never stop learning, and never take things for granted. Through Casey I have learned so much about business and about myself. So many fun, silly memories come to mind every day, and I will treasure them all (midnight hikes, hijacked limos, management retreats, etc.). Casey's generosity and sincere caring, his driven and demanding way of doing business, his imagination and creativity, his fun-loving craziness, his love for his clients and his staff...these are all what has made the past 9 years unforgettable and I will do all I can to live up to the example he gave and the expectations he had.
Janet Keene
I send my deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked some time ago for Warner Co and enjoyed my time with all of you. I remember Casey being so full of life and fun, it was contagious. I will always remember him in that manner. May God bless ALL of the Warner Co family.
